We are very pleased to be Bord Na Mona’s North West Supplier of Irish Peat Briquettes. Having a love for the product ourselves, we wanted to be able to provide this product to all our customers.
The Irish Peat Briquettes are an extremely popular product because of their burning qualities and homely smell. Because of this, we are happy to be able to deliver this fuel on a national basis.
These peat briquettes have been Ireland’s favorite solid fuel for over 60 years. They are 100% natural and do not include any chemicals or binders. The product comes from Irish bogland, which is dried and blended to burn constantly. The moisture content is reduced to 10% which makes it easy to light and long burning. In addition to this, these briquettes give off a hot and radiating temperature.
Bord Na Mona’s peat briquettes are suitable for open fires and stoves. They also create that homely feeling that you can only get with the scent of burning real Irish peat.
Along with Bord Na Mona Peat briquettes, we also offer the more traditional burning peat, Irish Turf. Turf again is another popular product from Ireland, this fuel gives off a great aroma and good heat.
